Prior Lake, MN Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-4:30
PM Pay:
$24-$35/hour

Opportunity:
We are partnering with a manufacturing company in Prior Lake, MN, specializing in precision machining and manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone with previous machine operator experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong attention to detail, mechanical ability, and a commitment to quality.
What You'll Be Doing:
Set up, operate, and monitor lathes and turning equipment, including loading materials, installing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings, and running production cycles. Read blueprints and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements. Monitor machines for tool wear, vibrations, errors, and other issues. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping, including clearing chips, applying coolant, cleaning equipment, and completing routine checks. What Makes You a Great Fit? Previous machine operator experience required. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machine mechanics. Strong shop math, measuring, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, speeds, and feeds. Previous machine setup experience. Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain good manual dexterity. Ability to safely lift and handle heavy metal stock.
