H2O Machine & Fabrication is looking for a dependable and motivated CNC Mill / Lathe Operator to join our team. This position may also include waterjet operation and other general machine shop work as needed. We are open to applicants of all experience levels , from entry-level candidates interested in learning the trade to experienced CNC machinists. No CNC or waterjet experience? We are willing to train the right person! This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn and develop valuable machining and manufacturing skills. For experienced applicants, responsibilities and compensation may vary based on machining, setup, programming, and waterjet experience. Job Responsibilities Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce machined parts Assist with or operate waterjet equipment as needed Load and unload parts and materials Follow work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications Use measuring tools to check parts for accuracy and quality Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as needed Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offsets based on experience level Assist with material preparation and other general machine shop duties Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow shop procedures and safety requirements Work with other team members to complete jobs accurately and on schedule Qualifications CNC machining experience is preferred but not required Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply Waterjet experience is a plus but not required Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained Basic math skills Blueprint reading experience is a plus Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment is a plus Previous CNC mill, CNC lathe, waterjet, machining, manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop experience is a plus We are looking for someone who wants to become a valuable, long-term member of our team.
