Roles & Responsibilities Set up, layout, and operate CNC lathes and/or mills Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, dimensions, tolerances & tooling instructions Select, position, and secure tools in holders Secure workpieces using chucks, fixtures, centers, or machine tables Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut Start machines, monitor operations, and verify part conformity Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S) Follow all company rules and safety policies Communicate diagram or production errors with supervisors/engineers Perform assembly‑type functions using hand/power tools Adjust, trim, and fit parts to close tolerances Follow visual aids/standard work Perform testing on assembled products Package finished goods, print labels, insert protective materials Meet efficiency and quality standards Report defective materials or questionable conditions Rotate job assignments within various work cells Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Needs Lift up to 25 lbs Stand for 90% of the shift Strong hand‑eye coordination Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus
