By leveraging your expertise in metalworking and technical documentation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing output meets rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Configure and manage the operation of CNC mills, lathes, and assorted manual machining tools to achieve precise tolerances. Analyze complex engineering blueprints and technical schematics to plan efficient machining sequences. Optimize production cycles by monitoring equipment performance and performing real-time adjustments. Execute preventative maintenance schedules and perform diagnostic troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization to ensure a productive environment. Partner with engineering and production staff to refine manufacturing workflows and boost overall throughput. Maintain comprehensive logs of production metrics and quality assurance results. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated professional experience in a machine shop environment. Advanced proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and geometric dimensioning. Solid understanding of industrial safety standards and shop floor best practices. Preferred Skills Technical certification or degree in Precision Machining or a related field. Hands-on experience with CNC programming and G-code editing. Proven ability to solve complex mechanical problems independently.
