Job Description
CNC Production Operator Rifle Barrel ManufacturingLINE49 | RIFLE Kalispell, MontanaLINE49 | RIFLE is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Production Operator to join our rifle barrel manufacturing team.
Preferred ExperienceCNC machine operationManufacturing or machining experienceHaas CNC equipmentPrecision measuring equipmentMetalworking or firearms manufacturing experiencePrevious CNC or machining experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
This position works within our production barrel line operating CNC equipment used in the manufacturing of precision rifle barrels.
ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC production equipment within the rifle barrel manufacturing lineLoad and unload barrel blanks and componentsFollow established machine programs, work instructions, and production proceduresPerform routine measurements and quality checks using precision measuring equipmentMonitor machines during operation and identify abnormalities, tooling issues, or quality concernsMake approved tooling offsets and adjustments as requiredInspect finished operations to ensure parts remain within specificationMaintain accurate production and quality recordsChange tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as trainedKeep machines, tooling, and surrounding work areas clean and organizedHandle barrel blanks and finished components carefully to prevent damageWork with other members of the production team to maintain efficient workflowImmediately report equipment, tooling, dimensional, or quality concernsWhat We're Looking ForStrong attention to detailMechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processesReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to follow written procedures and established processes consistentlyComfortable working independently once trainedAbility to use or learn precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometersWillingness to ask questions rather than guess when something does not look rightAbility to remain focused while performing repetitive precision manufacturing workPride in workmanship and personal accountability for the quality of parts producedProgramming experience is considered an asset but is not required.
