In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing directly to the creation of top-tier products. Responsibilities Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring precise execution of machining tasks. Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibrating equipment according to specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming software to produce complex parts accurately. Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). Conduct machine maintenance, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machining tools, power tools, grinders, and manual equipment. Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and ensure adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for quality control. Qualifications
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING.
Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC lathe and milling machines with Fanuc or similar controls. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with CAM software is a plus. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machining tools, tooling setups, and manual machining techniques. Familiarity with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality inspection. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and machine setup adjustments. Knowledge of GD&T principles for precise measurement in machining processes. Mechanical knowledge of metal machining processes such as grinding, boring, and precision measurement instruments. Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently. Embark on a career where your skills in CNC machining will shape innovative products!
