  • Admetec Inc Admetec, a global leader in custom magnifying loupes and headlights for dentists and surgeons, is expanding its operations in the US.
Admetec Inc is seeking a skilled and meticulous CNC Operator / Technician for its new repair center and manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. Join our founding team, help build operations from the ground up, and grow with the company!
Key Responsibilities Precision Lens Machining:
Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized lens-cutting machinery to manufacture custom optical lenses to exact tolerances.
Milling:
Perform fine CNC milling operations on optical lenses, precision-milling internal holes and custom cutouts for frame mounting and assembly.
Parameter Setup & Process Fine-Tuning:
Configure machine speed, feed rates, tooling, and operational parameters based on exact technical specifications.
Detailed Micro-Assembly:
Handle and assemble delicate optical components, frames, and mechanical sub-assemblies with fine dexterity and strict attention to detail.
Quality Assurance & Inspection:
Conduct microscopic and visual inspections of finished lenses and parts to ensure compliance with strict quality standards, zero-defect targets, and medical device regulations.
Facility Support & Maintenance:
Execute routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor process discrepancies, and follow all standard operating protocols (SOPs). Complete additional technical tasks based on operational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements Technical Experience:
1+ years of hands-on experience in machining & milling, or specialized precision/machining equipment.
Blueprint & Setup Proficiency:
Ability to read technical drawings and independently set machine parameters for precision milling and cutting operations.

Reliable, highly organized, and motivated to take initiative in launching and expanding a new facility.
