Job Title:

CNC Operator Job Description As a CNC Operator, you will oversee the daily functions of CNC machinery, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality production standards. Responsibilities Operate CNC Haas Lathe and Milling Machines (3/4/5 Axis). Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Hold tolerances of +/- .0005" or +/- .012mm. Machine materials such as aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, and peek. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines. Utilize CMM machines and precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operations. Inspect machinery and products for quality assurance. Perform daily preventative maintenance on machinery. Handle materials safely and appropriately. Ensure manufacturing adherence to all quality regulations. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Essential Skills 1-5 years of CNC Operating experience. Ability to use calipers and micrometers. Proficiency in reading and following blueprint instructions. Skill in machine operating and machining. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field. Experience with Haas Controller is a plus. Set-up experience is advantageous. Work Environment Work a 4x10 schedule from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays if needed. The work environment is a manufacturing and production setting where employees may need to lift up to 25 pounds. Duties require sitting, standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rutherford, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
