No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesLoad raw materials into CNC machines, load and set up tooling, calibrate offsets, and run precision machining operations (milling, turning, routing, or grinding). Measure finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs) to ensure strict adherence to blueprint specifications and tolerances. Select and load correct numerical control programs, perform test runs (dry runs), monitor machine operations for unusual noises or tool wear, and adjust speeds/feeds as necessary.
