In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise will ensure that parts are manufactured to exact specifications, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Set up CNC lathe machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters based on technical drawings and production orders Operate CNC lathes safely and efficiently to produce high-precision components according to specifications Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate machining processes Program CNC lathes using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues promptly to minimize downtime Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, shop math calculations, and adherence to safety protocols Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming for lathe operations Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and industrial equipment troubleshooting Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks for part design review Familiarity with mechanical blueprint interpretation, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and shop math principles Knowledge of materials handling, tooling setup, and fabrication techniques in a manufacturing setting Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges for quality control Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments including proper use of forklifts and press brake machines Ability to read production documents accurately and maintain detailed records of machining processes Join our team as a CNC Lathe Operator if you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your technical skills make a tangible impact!
