Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to technical specifications and blueprints. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine operation, and mechanical blueprint interpretation will be essential in ensuring high-quality output. Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling, calibration, and safety procedures are followed. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately produce parts. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC machinery and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality. Maintain detailed records of machine settings, production data, and quality control inspections in compliance with safety standards. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar controls. Strong understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings. Experience operating various industrial equipment including CNC milling machines, lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication tools. Knowledge of shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), tooling selection, and materials handling. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret manufacturing specifications accurately. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial troubleshooting, and safety standards in production environments. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement devices. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable for success in this role. $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
