The ideal candidate will have experience operating various CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, CNC programming, and quality control to ensure the production of high-quality components. Duties Set up and operate CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses to produce precision parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using CAM programming and G-code based on detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure parts meet strict quality standards. Utilize CAD software like SolidWorks for part design verification and tooling adjustments. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues related to Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions. Handle materials with appropriate tools including hand tools, forklifts, and fabrication equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in assembly line tasks, fabrication processes, and materials handling as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the manufacturing environment. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses in a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, PLC systems, and mechanical knowledge related to machining processes. Experience with quality control procedures using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line operations is a plus. Prior warehouse or materials handling experience is beneficial but not required. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
