Job Description
Adecco is recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator for a growing, global manufacturer in Syracuse, NY . This position is temp-to-hire, paying $19-23/hour. This is not a typical shop environment - the facility is newly updated, clean, bright, and organized, supporting the production of high-precision components in a quality-focused setting. What you'll be doing: Operate CNC mills and/or lathes producing precision parts Load materials and keep machines running consistently throughout your shift Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Make basic offsets and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances Monitor tooling and machine performance, catching issues early Keep your workspace clean and follow standard shop and safety practices What they're looking for: Previous CNC machine operating experience is required Ability to read blueprints and check your own work Comfort using measuring tools (calipers, mics, gauges) Strong attention to detail and quality Exposure to offsets, setups, or G-code is a plus Why this role stands out: Clean, modern facility - not a dark or dirty shop Stable, growing company with long-term opportunity Consistent, full-time hours with potential overtime Opportunity to build skills and grow within a high-tech manufacturing environment
