High SchoolResponsibilities Operate Haas VF-4 vertical milling centers according to production plans. Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T to understand machining steps and tolerances. Load raw materials, secure workpieces, and verify basic fixture setups and offsets. Monitor milling cycles, check part finishes, and perform basic tool wear adjustments. Conduct quality checks on finished parts using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges. Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning machines, checking coolant/lubrication levels, and chip removal). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S standards.
