  • 34 We are seeking a dedicated CNC Junior Level Operator with 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience to join our manufacturing team.
This role involves operating and maintaining various CNC machines, including milling machines, lathes, and other automated equipment, to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in CNC programming and setup, and a thorough understanding of blueprint reading and quality control standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment committed to excellence and safety. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines such as milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses in accordance with technical drawings and specifications. Program CNC equipment utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical manuals to ensure accurate machining. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify part dimensions. Perform basic maintenance on CNC machinery, including troubleshooting issues related to Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse handling equipment; assist with materials handling and fabrication tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes, tooling adjustments, and quality control measures. Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to safety protocols; document production activities accurately. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and quality. Experience 3 to 4 years of experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing or factory setting. Proficiency in CNC programming, including familiarity with Fanuc controls and CAM programming software. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings. Experience working with various machining tools such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication equipment. Knowledge of materials handling procedures using forklifts or similar equipment. Familiarity with quality control tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and machine adjustments. Hands-on experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to company policies on tooling, assembly, welding, and packaging processes. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to operate hand tools efficiently in an assembly or fabrication setting.
