Job Description Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a CNC Lathe Operator.
CNC Lathe Operator Job Details Schedule :
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00
AM Pay Rate :
$20.00/hr

Dayton, OH CNC Lathe Operator Requirements/Qualifications Previous CNC lathe setup and operating experience required. Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes utilizing live tooling. Ability to read and interpret customer prints, blueprints, and specifications. Experience making machine offsets and performing light program edits. Ability to dry-run new programs and verify proper machine operation. Experience working with dimensions up to 24" in diameter and 125" in length. Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow work orders, job instructions, and company procedures. Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team. About the CNC Lathe Operator Role As a CNC Lathe Operator, your responsibilities will include: Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to customer specifications. Set up and operate CNC lathes utilizing live tooling. Read and interpret customer prints and specifications to verify program and setup requirements. Dry-run new programs before beginning full production. Make machine offsets and perform light program editing as needed. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances. Measure parts using micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, verniers, and other precision measuring equipment. Work with dimensions up to 24" in diameter and 125" in length. Identify setup, programming, or quality issues and make necessary adjustments. Follow company-provided work orders and instructions. Maintain quality and productivity standards. Follow all company safety requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
