CNC OPeratorEssential Functions for CNC operator:

Responsible for the set-up, and operate various machines and equipment to; drill, grind, polish, CNC lathe parts components and/or assemblies in the production process to create a part.

Utilize industrial machines to turn raw materials into finished products or parts in the production process.

Can use multiple different types of machine tools such as grinders, cutters, and milling machines. Can program and or operate multiple CNC industrial machines.

Includes determining dimensions and tolerances required to make a finished piece for complex parts. Can operate multiple machines simultaneously.

Knowledge of metal properties and machining proceduresAbility to program machine and make adjustments.

Works alone or on a small team, works with limited supervision, will sometimes communicate with engineering or other production support functions.

Can train others on their position.
