Job Description
CNC Lathe & Automation Setup / OperatorA precision manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe & Automation Setup / Operator to join its production team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on setting up and operating computer numerical control turning centers alongside integrated robotic loading and tending systems.
Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the technician will ensure smooth production flow, maintain tight part tolerances, and support continuous improvement across automated machining cells.fanucamerica+1Core ResponsibilitiesSet up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and automated robotic loading/tending systems for production runs.fanucamerica+1Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, job travelers, and operational routing sheets.ziprecruiter+1Establish tool and work offsets, adjust machine settings, and perform minor G-code or parameter edits on Fanuc controls.fanucamerica+1Set up fixtures, jaws, cutting tools, and workholding components to support close-tolerance machining.
