CNC Machinist Have 3-5 years experience setting up and operating CNC Mill and or Lathe. Experience with G and M codes and tooling changes. Experience programming, entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry, proving part programs. Ability to read blue prints and inspect parts. Knowledge verifying settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample workpieces, adhering to ANSI standards. Ability to maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving and cutting, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Attention to detail and organized in order to maintain the machine in a properly functioning and clean state. Must be proficient in part inspection and be able to use a tape measure, calipers, micrometers. Previous experience in metal fabrication/ heavy equipment is preferred but not required. Be mobile with the ability to lift up to 50lbs. and on your feet for the full shift. Flexibility, to change and adapt to the requirements of a job-shop atmosphere (ie.
