Full Job Description Pay:
$20•22/hr, depending on experience Additional $1/hr night shift differential
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 2nd
Shift:
4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Job Description:
Lloyd Richards Personnel is hiring experienced CNC Brake Press Operators for a local manufacturing company. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and running a CNC brake press to form and bend sheet metal used in electrical cabinets. The ideal candidate must have strong brake press experience, be able to read blueprints, and use measuring tools accurately.
Job Duties:
Set up and operate CNC brake press equipment Form and bend sheet metal parts according to job specifications Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings Use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers to verify measurements Inspect parts for accuracy and quality Follow production instructions and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Report equipment or production issues to the supervisor
Requirements:
3+ years of brake press operating experience Must be able to set up and run a brake press Must be able to read blueprints Must be able to use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers Sheet metal forming or fabrication experience preferred Must be dependable and able to work 2nd shift Must pass drug screen and background check
Safety Requirements:
Steel-toe boots required Safety glasses required Must follow all shop safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and handle sheet metal parts as needed Ability to bend, reach, and perform hands-on production work Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
