We are a mid size family owned business with very diverse manufacturing capabilities. We are currently hiring for CNC Mill machinists who will setup and run out jobs. We have multiple DMG Mori verticals, some with 4th and 5th axis capabilities, DMG Mori horizontals, Kitamura horizontal and vertical, Matsuura 5-axis with a 32pallet pool. We have some great talent here that can help get you up and running if you don't have any experience with these brands. A person in this position is responsible for setting up and machining of parts to specification from engineering drawings on existing process, and new part development as well. Essential functions, duties, and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Sets up and operate CNC machine tools such vertical and horizontal CNC Mills. Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications using precision measuring instruments and documents results. Have previous experience making your own fixtures and work holding based on designs from the programming department. Performs own inspections and can use a wide variety of inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators as well as performing surface plate inspections. Interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
