In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC Swiss screw machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting will ensure efficient production processes and high-quality outputs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. Duties Set up and operate CNC Swiss screw machines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate machining Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify component dimensions Troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC machinery, including CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine logs Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure safety standards and operational efficiency are met Collaborate with team members on tooling selection, fabrication processes, and quality control measures to optimize manufacturing workflows Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC Swiss screw machines or similar CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or other controller systems Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents Familiarity with CAM programming software and SolidWorks for design interpretation and tooling setup Ability to use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and shop math for quality assurance Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting industrial equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, and press brakes Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper use of hand tools and tooling materials Experience with materials handling, packaging processes, assembly line operations, and factory safety protocols is preferred Valid forklift certification is a plus for materials movement within the facility Join our team as a CNC Swiss Operator where your expertise will directly impact the quality of our products!
