CNC Plasma/Torch Table Operator American Machine - Schuylkill Haven, PA American Machine is a family-owned job shop looking for a CNC Plasma/Torch Table Operator to join our team. We run one day shift and specialize in custom, short-run work—so there is always something different coming across the table. What You'll Do Set up and operate a CNC plasma and oxy-fuel torch table Program simple parts and load existing programs Read mechanical drawings and job specifications Load and position plate using overhead cranes and fork lifts Set cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses Monitor cut quality and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished parts Perform basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance Keep your work area clean and safe What We're Looking For Prior CNC Plasma/CNC Burn Table/ Water jet experience required Ability to read mechanical drawings Basic computer and shop math skills Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with plate cutting is a plus Why American Machine?
