ZF Transmissions is hiring CNC Set Up Technicians & CNC Machine Operators. These are direct hire positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Pay:
$33.91 Per Hour (CNC Set Up Technicians)
Pay:
Up to $25.27 Per Hour (CNC Machine Operators)
Shift Differential:
$1.00/hour (2nd & 3rd shifts)

Position Responsibilities:
Set up all equipment in accordance with standard work practices within assigned work area
Serve as a trainer for assigned work area according to certification process
Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production equipment
Verify all quality checks, measurements, and documentation are recorded in SPC systems (CMM Reporter or SPC Control Charts)
Adhere to housekeeping SOPs and 5S standards
Understand and comply with TS 16949 and
ISO 14000
requirements
Targeted Skills & Experience (Highly Preferred):
We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in three (3) or more of the following areas:
Turning Centers (Weisser, Felsomat, or equivalent)
Gear Grinders (Reishauer or equivalent)
Gear Hobbing
Machine Controllers (Siemens or equivalent)
Robotic Part Movement / Automation Systems (Felsomat, KUKA, Cobots, or equivalent)
Gear Measurement / Quality Control (Klingelnberg gear charting or equivalent)
Essential Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong CNC machining experience including grinding, drilling, milling, hard turning, honing, and deburring
Knowledge of gear manufacturing processes such as hobbing, broaching, and gear cutting
Understanding of metal hardening techniques including inductive hardening and vacuum carburizing
Demonstrated experience in CNC machine setup and changeover procedures
Experience with automated manufacturing, robotics, laser welding, and assembly processes preferred
