In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Your expertise in machine operation, technical drawing interpretation, and safety standards will ensure efficient production processes and top-notch product quality. This job is located in Gainesville TX Duties Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC presses with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate manufacturing. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust settings for optimal performance. Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify part accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and properly handling shop tools and materials. Assist with fabrication tasks such as tooling setup, materials handling, packaging finished products, and assembly line support as needed. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and understanding of Fanuc controls. Strong knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Experience operating various industrial equipment including press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and fabrication tools. Skilled in using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math, and GD&T for quality control. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), factory automation systems, and troubleshooting industrial machinery. Ability to interpret production documents accurately while maintaining safety standards throughout the manufacturing process. Hands-on experience with shop tools, hand tools, materials handling equipment like forklifts, and assembly line operations.
