This experienced operator manages the REGIUS 9kW and
FLC 4020
automation towers, runs the ENSIS 2kW shuttle-table system, verifies programs and material, changes consumables, performs inspections, and resolves routine process or automation problems with limited supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate the Amada REGIUS 9kW, FLC 4020, and ENSIS 2kW safely and efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Verify material grade, thickness, sheet size, surface condition, program revision, nest, quantities, assist gas, and cutting conditions.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, dimensions, profiles, tolerances, surface requirements, and job instructions.
  • Select, inspect, install, and verify appropriate nozzles, ceramics, protective windows or lenses, and other approved consumables.
  • Independently operate the REGIUS 9kW and
FLC 4020
automation towers, including job staging, material calls, load and unload cycles, pallet flow, and completed-sheet handling.
  • Independently operate the ENSIS 2kW shuttle-table sequence, including safe loading, table exchange, unloading, and restart preparation.
  • Complete and verify first-piece, in-process, and final inspections before continuing or releasing production.
  • Monitor cut quality, pierce performance, tip-ups, part drop, heat effects, assist-gas performance, and consumable condition throughout production.
  • Diagnose routine machine, consumable, material, nest, cutting-process, shuttle-table, and tower-automation issues and make approved corrections.
  • Identify nonconforming material or parts, control affected product, and communicate quality concerns.
  • Support and coach Level 0 and Level 1 operators on established work when assigned.
  • Communicate equipment, automation, material, program, gas, consumable, or quality problems promptly. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Independent setup and changeover for standard laser-cutting work.
  • Strong manufacturing drawing reading, material knowledge, tolerance interpretation, and dimensional inspection.
  • Proficiency with required measuring tools and visual edge-quality evaluation.
  • Ability to manage REGIUS and FLC tower workflows and ENSIS shuttle-table production without routine assistance.
  • Ability to diagnose and correct routine cutting, consumable, material-flow, shuttle, and automation issues.
  • Demonstrated ownership of safety, quality, productivity, and work-area organization.
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
