CNC Operator Vantage Stoneworks Irving, TX Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Safety equipment provided Qualifications Tooling Machine operation Forklift Attention to detail Materials handling Full Job Description CNC Operator & Inventory Coordinator — Stone Fabrication Vantage Stoneworks — Irving, Texas Full-time • [$18.00-$25.00/hour, DOE] About the role We're a stone fabrication shop looking for a reliable, hands-on operator to run our CNC equipment and manage material inventory day to day. Our engineer handles all programming, nesting, and part layout — you'll be responsible for taking those programs and turning them into finished parts, and for keeping our material organized and accounted for. This is a great fit for someone mechanically inclined who takes pride in clean work and a well-run shop. What you'll do Load programs and run CNC saw to cut and process stone slabs Set up material on the machine, verify placement against the nest, and confirm zero/origin points Monitor cuts, swap tooling/bits, and watch for issues (chipping, tool wear, water/coolant) Perform daily and routine machine maintenance (lubrication, water, cleaning, consumables) Receive incoming slabs and material; inspect for damage and log what arrives Track and organize inventory — full slabs, remnants, and offcuts — so we always know what's on hand and where it is Stage material for upcoming jobs and pull remnants when they fit Keep the shop floor clean, safe, and organized What we're looking for Experience running CNC equipment [stone experience a plus, but we'll train the right person] Willing to train for all parts of the job (including forklift certification) Comfortable reading job layouts / cut sheets and matching them to physical material Organized and detail-oriented — inventory accuracy matters here Mechanically inclined; comfortable with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Able to safely handle and move heavy material (with equipment/help — [we use A-frames / forklifts / pin racks]) Dependable, on time, and able to work independently once trained Forklift / equipment experience a plus Physical requirements Able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand/move throughout a 8-hour shift Comfortable working in a shop environment (dust, water, noise — PPE provided) Schedule & pay Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6am-3pm. Some Saturdays may be required. [$18-$25/hour depending on experience]
