Job Description
CNC Machinist
- Level II or III Full-time | On-site in Lago Vista, TX CNC Machining | Manufacturing | Career Growth Join a Team Where Experience Matters Specialty Machine is seeking skilled CNC Machinists (Level II-III) ready to take ownership of complex, high-tolerance machining work for industries that demand precision— semiconductor, defense, aerospace, energy, and chemical.
What We're Looking For:
CNC Machinist II:
3+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training Proficient in setup, offsets, tool changes, and basic program edits Strong understanding of G/M codes, GD&T, and process optimization Demonstrated reliability and consistent attention to detail Experience operating and/or programming CNC machines utilizing pallet systems or automated pallet changers in a production environment Experience supporting repeatable, unattended, or semi-unattended machining is a plusCNC Machinist III:
5+ years of CNC machining experience or technical degree plus proven work history Mastery of advanced setups, multi-axis operation, and program optimization Capable of mentoring junior machinists and working independently Experience machining complex geometries and mission-critical components Experience operating and/or programming CNC machines utilizing pallet systems or automated pallet changers in a production environment Familiarity with multi-pallet workflows , fixture offsets, work coordinate management, and job sequencing to support reduced changeover and extended run times Experience supporting repeatable, unattended, or semi-unattended machining is a plus Why Specialty Machine Competitive Pay- Commensurate with skill and experience Second-shift Schedule
