Job Description

CNC Machine Operator Join the Extreme Steel team! Extreme Steel, Inc. is a growing AISC-certified structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector serving the DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas. We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as CNC Machine Operators . What You'll Do Set up and adjust CNC machines for production runs. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and identify any malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance and minor machine adjustments. Load raw materials and unload finished products safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts and saws as needed to support production. Read and follow production instructions, drawings, and specifications. Assist with inventory, material handling, and general shop operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Requirements Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience. Experience operating forklifts and saws preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and follow production instructions and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical training or CNC certifications are a plus.
