Job Description

CNC Operator — Custom Cabinet & Fixture Shop We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our custom cabinet and fixture shop. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well in a production environment, and understands the importance of efficiency, organization, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Operate and monitor CNC machinery used in the production of custom cabinets, fixtures, and millwork. Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC programs. Load materials, set up jobs, make basic machine adjustments, and monitor production. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot common CNC and production issues and communicate problems promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work closely with other members of the production team to keep jobs moving efficiently and accurately. Help identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Follow established quality and safety procedures. What We're Looking For Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn. CNC operating experience, preferably in cabinet, millwork, woodworking, or fixture manufacturing. Ability to read shop drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot equipment and processes. Good communication and teamwork skills. Lean Manufacturing We are continually working to improve how we manufacture our products. The ideal candidate will either have experience with Lean Manufacturing or be interested in learning principles such as: 3S and workplace organization Reducing waste and unnecessary movement Standardized work Continuous improvement Improving workflow and production efficiency Identifying and solving process problems We're looking for someone who doesn't just operate a machine, but looks for ways to make the process better. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
