In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and craftsmanship are paramount. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathe machines with precision, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to accurately set up machining operations. Program CNC lathes Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or material inconsistencies to minimize downtime. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, including cleaning, calibration, and tool changes. Follow safety standards diligently while handling industrial equipment like saw, forklifts, and tools. Assist in materials handling and packaging processes to ensure smooth workflow from machining to shipment. Experience Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar control systems. Familiarity with programming software for toolpath creation and optimization. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers and shop math. Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and basic mechanical repair skills. Experience working with fabrication tools such as saw, CNC milling machines, and hand tools.
