CNC Operator

- 1st Shift! API Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of transformation. We have a new mission, new leaders, and are accelerating our path to Lean Cultural Change. Our Production team is expanding, and we are seeking an additional CNC Operator
- Second Shift in Iron Ridge.

What You Will Do:
The CNC Operator requirements include but are not limited to Set-Up and operation of the following machinery:
CNC Milling Center:
Program, Set-up and operate new Haas VF6 with rotary 4th axis.
Visualize and forward think the best machining practices necessary to complete parts.
Create and adjust programs, Tool setting, Fixture set up.
Apply knowledge of metal properties in relation to machinability of materials (e.g., cutting speed and feed rates for material being machined).
Perform part inspection using micrometers, calipers, height indicator, etc.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Comply with all API Heat Transfer policies for behavior with the workplace.
Comply with all of the
ISO 9001
Quality Standards, policies and procedure of API Heat Transfer.
What You Bring:
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with two years minimum of related combined experience.
Basic set up experience on lathes and/or Machining centers.
Ability to read and alter programs. ____________________________
