Job Description

1st or 2nd available Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor stamping presses to ensure accurate production of metal parts according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine proper tooling and machine settings Conduct routine inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify quality Perform adjustments on presses and tooling to optimize efficiency and maintain product consistency Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling equipment such as cranes, hand tools, and forklifts Assist with tooling changes, maintenance, and troubleshooting of stamping presses and related machinery Collaborate with quality inspection personnel to identify defects or deviations from specifications Support fabrication activities including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, welding, or machining as needed Document production data accurately for traceability and process improvement initiatives Follow all safety guidelines related to electrical discharge machining (EDM), press brake operations, CNC programming, and other manufacturing processes Skills Proven experience operating stamping presses in a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical knowledge of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, and EDM equipment Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other quality inspection instruments Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments Knowledge of fabrication techniques including sheet metal work and tooling setup Experience with CNC programming or editing is a plus Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely within the manufacturing environment Familiarity with hand tools, welding techniques, assembly processes, and general machining practices Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in manufacturing processes Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members across departments This role is ideal for candidates eager to advance their expertise in precision manufacturing while contributing to a safety-conscious team dedicated to excellence. Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
