POSITION
•CNC Vertical Lathe Operator.
JOB LOCATION
•Manitowoc, and Sheboygan, WI.
STARTING DATE
•Immediate.
EMPLOYMENT TERM
•Temp-to-hire or direct-hire.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
•Full-time.
WORK HOURS
(SHIFT)•1st and 2nd shift.
STARTING PAY
•$22•33/hour.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize CAD/CAM software to prepare files for cutting. Download files to machinery. Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specified or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tool, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Calculate dimensions and tolerances and ensure that machined parts conform to product specifications. Document actions by completing production and quality logs. Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine the need for adjustments or repairs. May operate bench grinder to sharpen tools. May set up machines for other workers. Programming ability is helpful, but it is not required. #INDSEEK
