CNC MACHINIST

(2nd Shift) Responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to produce precision parts and components for various industries. Experience in programming and setting up CNC machines, as well as monitoring machining process to ensure that products meet design specifications and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Ensures the safe and efficient operation of all equipment in the area of responsibility. 2. Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurateness of parts and components. 3. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and fixtures as necessary to uphold quality and meet production requirements. 4. Monitor machine operations and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. 5. Measure and inspect finished products to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards 6. Sustain accurate records of production data, including machine settings and tooling changes. 7. Ascertain and troubleshoot machine and tooling issues, and make necessary repairs and adjustments. 8. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, and maintain a clean and organized work area. 9. Participates in root cause analysis, 5S and problem solving in lean manufacturing. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Ability to use precise measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Experience operating CNC machine in a manufacturing environment Attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Multi-tasking abilities a MUST. Team player, willing to help in whatever capacity needed to better the organization. This person will be able to work 2nd shift Mon through Friday (2:30pm - 10:30pm).
