Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, machine operation, and technical drawings, ensuring that production meets quality standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to manufacturing excellence. Duties Operate a range of CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and machining centers with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance. Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part accuracy. Maintain safety standards in accordance with industry regulations during all machine operations. Handle materials safely, including materials handling and packaging finished products for shipment. Collaborate with quality control teams to inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications. Use hand tools and shop math skills for minor adjustments or fabrication tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine maintenance logs, and quality checks. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC machining centers within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including Fanuc controls and CAM programming software. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications accurately. Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance procedures. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of fabrication processes like stamping presses, press brake machines, and industrial equipment operation. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators; experience with GD&T is preferred. Basic shop math skills including measurements conversions and calculations relevant to machining tolerances. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workspace for all team members. Experience with warehouse operations or materials handling is advantageous. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
