Shift Availability:

3rd Shift We are seeking experienced CNC Operators to join our high-volume manufacturing operation in Sussex, WI. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who take pride in producing quality parts, maintaining tight tolerances, and working in a fast-paced production environment. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating multiple CNC machines, performing in-process inspections, monitoring tooling and machine performance, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout production. What You'll Do Operate multiple CNC production machines according to production schedules Perform first-piece, in-process, and hourly quality inspections Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and job routings Perform tool and insert changes as needed Monitor coolant levels and machine readiness Conduct quality checks using: Micrometers Calipers Indicators CMM equipment (occasionally) Identify non-conforming parts and quality issues independently Report labor, scrap, and rework in the company operating system Perform basic operator-level machine maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Qualifications Required Basic computer skills Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing documentation Understanding of dimensional tolerances and measurement tools Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Preferred 2+ years of CNC machining experience Experience operating CNC lathes, vertical mills, or multi-axis equipment Experience performing in-process inspections Understanding of G-Code and M-Code Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Trade school machining education or high school machining program experience Materials You'll Work With Brass Copper Plastics Various ferrous and non-ferrous metals Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift Ability to frequently bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures Training All training will be conducted on 1st Shift.
