Full Job Description Job Description/Purpose:
A cnc operator is vital to the success of the Profit Center (PC) team, to produce parts on time for our customers. The cnc operator programs and operates 3 cnc routers producing a variety of parts with various plastic materials. The cnc operator will be required to inspect for quality dimensionally and aesthetics. You are required to program from customer supplied drawings ( dxf, dwg) as well as creating a drawing from scratch or a model.Position Responsibilities:
- Performs daily programming and operation of cnc routers and a laser.
- Safely and effectively operates the equipment. Axyz, multicam , edge finisher router. Epilog Laser
- Works with the warehouse supervisor to set a production schedule to make sure we are completing jobs by due dates required, program parts via cad in advance of running the job.
- Records finished goods produced
- Post processing of parts as required
- Other duties as required.
