Job Description

Job Summary A growing precision manufacturing team in Camarillo, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Setup Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting medical, aerospace, and defense manufacturing. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled CNC setup professional who enjoys working with advanced machining technology, high-quality standards, and complex precision components. The work environment offers strong teamwork, supportive leadership, and close collaboration between machining, programming, engineering, and Quality Control. This is a strong opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and continuous improvement while building a long-term career path in a stable manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and run CNC machining jobs on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
  • Support machine shop management and programmers with production operations and process improvements.
  • Set up and machine castings, hog-outs, and precision components to customer specifications.
  • Work closely with Quality Control to verify parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer standards.
  • Communicate technical information with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel.
  • Maintain organized, safe, and detail-focused work practices throughout the production process. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $25 to $30 per year.
