This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior hands-on CNC machining, setup, and Mastercam programming experience. The ideal candidate should be able to independently program, set up, prove out, and run CNC jobs using Mastercam and HAAS equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program CNC milling and turning operations using Mastercam Set up and operate HAAS 3-axis and 4-axis CNC mills and CNC lathes Machine precision parts from engineering drawings and CAD models Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding methods Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment Make necessary offsets and machining corrections Design and manufacture fixtures and tooling when required
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of Mastercam programming experience required Minimum 3 years of CNC setup and machining experience required Prior experience independently setting up and proving out CNC jobs required
HAAS CNC
mill and/or lathe experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T Strong understanding of cutting tools, workholding, speeds, and feeds Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively within a small manufacturing team
Pay:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
