Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Select and install appropriate tooling for each job. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes. Develop and issue detailed cutter lists and setup documents.
Skills:
Proficient in operating Haas Control CNC machines. Proficient in the use and application of SolidWorks CAD. Proficient in the use and application of Mastercam CAM. Basic knowledge of programming, implementation, and use on Renishaw on machine probing. Knowledge of various machining processes, including milling, turning, and drilling - Familiarity with tooling selection and assembly. Ability to use measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings accurately to validate CAD models. Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus.
