Pay:
$40-$55 DOE Kimco Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support a high precision aerospace manufacturing program. This role is ideal for a machining professional with extensive experience programming and operating Mill Turn lathes while producing complex, tight tolerance components in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Mastercam programming experience, a background machining exotic aerospace alloys, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to continuously improve production processes. Responsibilities Program CNC turning centers using Mastercam. Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for complex machined components and tooling. Design and manufacture tooling, fixtures, jigs, and production aids to support manufacturing. Select appropriate tooling, materials, and machining strategies for production requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications. Machine precision components while maintaining tight tolerances. Inspect finished components and tooling to verify quality and dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot machining issues and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality. Repair, modify, and maintain existing tooling and fixtures. Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support new product development and production improvements. Maintain accurate documentation for programs, tooling, revisions, and process improvements. Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum six years of CNC machining experience. Minimum three years of Mastercam programming experience for Mill Turn and turning centers. Experience programming and machining on Y Axis lathes. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fanuc controls. Experience operating Doosan Puma and DNM turning centers.
Experience machining aerospace materials including:
Inconel 718 Stainless Steel 304 Stainless Steel 316 Aluminum 7075 Experience machining additive manufactured metal components. Strong understanding of GD&T with the ability to create and review engineering drawings. Experience operating CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM equipment. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality parts. Ability to work effectively with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance. Schedule Full time Overtime and weekend work may be required to support production schedules and customer commitments.
