You open the CMMS to review today's scheduled tasks, then head to a CNC grinder for a preventative inspection. Minutes later, you're called to a lathe showing an alarm—you diagnose using PLC readouts, trace the issue to a hydraulic component, and complete a corrective repair that gets production back on track. Before lunch, you log meticulous maintenance notes, safely handle oils with proper PPE, and leave each workstation clean, orderly, and safe. What you'll do Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections on CNC grinders, lathes, mills, and manual machines. Troubleshoot faults and perform corrective repairs to minimize production downtime. Safely handle chemicals and oils in compliance with PPE and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and escalate equipment issues when appropriate. Champion a clean, safe, and well‑organized workspace. What you bring Proven mechanical aptitude within a manufacturing or machining setting. Confidence using PLC systems for diagnostics and adjustments. Basic computer ability, including email and CMMS usage. Capability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Clear written and verbal communication. Safe, confident use of hand tools and basic power tools.
