Job Summary As a 5-axis CNC Mill Set-up/Programmer, you will be responsible for creating efficient CNC programs using Mastercam for 3-5 axis parts ranging from single run prototypes to medium volume production that meet or exceed customer requirements. You will create detailed setup sheets for every program and at times set up and run parts as needed. You will work with the other setup/operators on the shop floor to efficiently set up and run parts for submission of first articles for inspection. Work closely with the production team as required to ensure production schedules are on time, and high-quality standards are met. Primary Job Duties Create 3-5 axis CNC Mill programs and set up sheets Set up 3-5 axis mills for first article inspection Work with engineering to develop efficient manufacturing processes Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety guidelines and company procedures

Schedule:

8-hours shift Monday-Friday Day Shift Occasional overtime as needed Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience programming 5-axis CNC mills Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming using Mastercam Minimum of 5 years of experience setting/operating 3-5 axis CNC mills Experience with automation/pallet loaders a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to use hand measurement tools to verify part dimensions Proficiency in GD&T specifications Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints Ability to lift up to 40lbs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills Commitment to safety in the workplace

Pay:

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
