$100,000 - $175,000 per year Job Details - Key Responsibilities Build, modify, and repair precision tooling, fixtures, gauges, and dies used in aerospace manufacturing Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders (3, 4, and/or 5-axis) to machine complex components Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to determine machining approach and tolerances Plan machining sequences, select tooling, and perform setups for prototype and short-run tooling builds Perform precision machining operations including milling, turning, boring, drilling, threading, and grinding Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and CMM equipment Troubleshoot machining processes, tooling issues, and dimensional discrepancies during build and prove-out Fabricate and adjust custom tooling and fixtures as needed to support production efficiency Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP as applicable) Document inspection results, process changes, and shift hand-off notes Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve tooling design and manufacturability Qualifications 5+ years of Toolmaker, Tool & Die, or CNC machining experience in a precision environment Proven experience in tooling, machining, or a related manufacturing field. Experience designing and building new dies, as well as repairing old dies as needed. Proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks. Familiarity with stamping press operations. Experience machining stainless steel required.
