Transform complex aerospace designs into production‑ready CNC programs that achieve exacting tolerances across multiple axes. Leverage Horizontal Machining Centers with macro logic, sub‑programs, and variable programming to maximize repeatability. Program 4‑axis/5‑axis/Y‑axis lathes and both large and compact Vertical Machining Centers with confidence. Be the go‑to problem solver on the shop floor, keeping machines cutting and schedules intact. Lead Kaizen work (SMDE, VSM, 5s) to reduce waste and elevate Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Own program library integrity and revision control in accordance with NADCAP. Administer program storage systems and help teammates upload/download programs as needed. What it takes Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; or 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial technical roles with proven CNC programming experience. 5+ years in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment. Data gathering and analysis skills that guide sound decisions. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
Toolset:
CAD/CAM, Esprit, Solid Works, MasterCam; office apps for word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets.
Controls/coding mastery:
G and M code editing, macro programming, multi‑axis functions, Fanuc, Okuma, and Mitsubishi CELOS controllers. Excellent time/project management; self‑starter mindset. Team player who influences without formal authority. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is a Non-Exempt hourly technical position.
