CNC Set up Technician - Fort Wayne Introduction At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Set up Technician to work with AAM Metal Forming - FW in Fort Wayne. This role supports high-volume precision machining operations, focusing on equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Shift Pattern Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Pay Rates 23.00 - 28.00 USD hourly Essential Requirements 1-3 years of CNC setup experience in a high-volume machining environment Ability to interpret G-code and M-code Experience with CNC lathes, tooling, and production changeovers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work overtime and maintain reliable attendance Desirable Requirements Journeyman's Card, Tool & Die certification, or CNC machining certification Experience with CMM inspection, precision measuring equipment, and blueprint reading Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement Experience with Nachi robots and robotic automation Ability to train or mentor operators Role Responsibilities Perform CNC machine setups, tool changes, and production changeovers Interpret CNC programs to verify tool paths and machining operations Troubleshoot machining and production issues using root cause analysis Train and support associates on machining standards and equipment operation Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and quality Benefits Professional growth in a high-volume automotive manufacturing setting Opportunity to work with advanced robotic automation and Nachi controls Collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement Stable career path with a leading manufacturer Location Fort Wayne.
