What You'll Do Program, set up, and machine complex prototype and low-volume components using GibbsCAM software. Perform advanced CNC machine setups and optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Machine tight-tolerance parts that require precision, attention to detail, and problem-solving. Verify part quality using precision measuring equipment throughout the manufacturing process. Troubleshoot machining and programming challenges while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with engineering and fellow machinists to develop the best manufacturing solutions. Preferred qualifications include:

Five or more years of CNC machining experience involving programming, setups, and precision machining. Experience programming with GibbsCAM or comparable CAM software. Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. Experience machining complex, tight-tolerance components. Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities. Experience using precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and height gauges. Technical training or machining certification is a plus. As part of our hiring process, candidates will complete a hands-on technical evaluation designed to demonstrate their machining knowledge and abilities.
