Job Description
Back CNC Programmer @ Elwood Staffing Temp-to-Hire position Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Develop, write, modify, and optimize CNC programs for CNC mills and lathes. Program machines using G-code, conversational programming, and CAM software. Program and support various CNC controls, including Fanuc, and similar systems. Determine the proper machining sequence, tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters. Set up CNC mills and lathes for production and first-piece runs. Install and align fixtures, vises, chucks, workholding devices, cutting tools, and raw materials. Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
