Job Description

CNC Programmer / Machinist - Lathes & Mills (2nd Shift)
Location:
Oakland County, MI About the Role We are seeking experienced CNC Programmers / Machinists to support a growing advanced manufacturing operation producing high-precision components for aerospace, defense, and related industries. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes Develop and optimize programs using CAM software (Mastercam, Tebis) Perform full machine setups, including tooling and offsets Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards Inspect finished parts and make necessary adjustments Qualifications Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience At least 2 years of CNC programming experience Experience with Fanuc and/or Mazak controls Strong setup, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits $30-$40/hour based on experience Flexible shift options (8-10 hours, 2nd shift starting at 3 PM) 100% employer-paid health insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off, holidays, and additional incentives Work Environment Clean, modern facility with advanced CNC equipment Strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement You should be proficient in: CNC Programming
